A journey of discovery

The internet has given us the gift of instant access and opens the door to vast knowledge.  Many people contribute to that knowledge and we are able to build upon it to make interesting and great things.  Some people share.  My objective has over the years been to accumulate knowledge in the form of web pages and resources that other people can access and use.  I entered adult life where the internet was still in its infancy and was years away from becoming mainstream.  So, like many of my generation I could only gain knowledge from books, magazines and probing like minds.  How things have changed!

With various things I explore I discover challenges that the internet sometimes has only limited answers for.  Whilst we can all discover our own solutions to unanswered questions, sometimes this can be limiting and even look overwhelming.  Providing some well researched tools and knowledge has enabled me to empower more and more hobbyists and researchers to focus on the content of their objective rather than being stuck around the fringes.

I would like to continue to help forge this idea and embed it into the internet culture of sharing.  While this is not the 'site of everything' there is something in here for many people from the technical, to the completely non-technical.  Relax, enjoy, look around and find something that helps you.  Use your findings to help others.
