- Updated to the WordNet 2.1 database standards
- Added a scrabble allowed words search

- Replaced the 'sounds like' engine and gave it controllable levels of
sensitivity
- Added some nice new colours
V2.6 Released Tuesday 25 January 2005
- Added full colour-coding, formatting and full word hyperlinking to
search results
- Fixed bug where a space appended by selecting a 'suggested word' from
the popup keypad causes 0 search results
- Known Issue: spacing in the results definition is not quite right -
there are extra spaces between any punctuation. Hopefully this will be
addressed in the next release
V2.5.03 Released Wednesday 19 January 2005
- Added 'Sounds Like' search (warning: for fast devices only)
- Fixed morph bugs
- Updated to full WordNet 2.0 relations
- Added a font size/bold selection to options - particularly for VGA
devices, as the font was too small to read in the higher resolution
- As of this version, the cause of the mystery crash on some WM2003SE
devices is known and a fix is available via the .Net Compact Framework
service pack 3
V2.5.02 Released Thursday 16 December 2004
- (hopefully) Removed warning message on 2003SE devices stating that the
software is for a previous version
- Fixed landscape mode display for anagram and wildcard search screens
- Changed focus behaviour so that focus is automatically in the search box
for any given search screen upon first load
- Wrapped the dictionary select dialog with an exception catcher in the
hope that if this crashes on a 2003SE device someone might be able to get me
a specific error message

- Fixed error with leading wildcards in wildcard search (searches not
conforming to regular expressions, even though a regular expression search
is not being carried out). Also, made non-conforming regular
expressions error message to remove ambiguity

- Fixed bug where if "Senses" was used on a contextual search on a word
the software would crash
- Fixed input panel popup for Senses field
- Fixed (hopefully finally) window scaling problem. When wordwrap is
switched on the horizontal scroll disappears. This needs to be checked
further
- Did some fixes on the class library so that it should now be platform
independent
V1.11 Released Saturday 19 June 2004
- No software modifications so there's not much need to upgrade from V1.1
- Slightly modified license wording after advice from a Princeton
representative. Removed "and database" from the last paragraph in the
opening statement "THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS""
- Packaged the software using ezsetup from HOB Business Software (which
they modified from SPB's ezsetup) to provide a single install file.
This will make installation much easier and remove the support requests
coming through asking for platform clarification. Now I won't get
anymore emails :(

- Changed main screen to expand with different resolutions. Let me

- Fixed menu options which were falling off the screen
- Added the description of the current context menu selection for noun,
adj, adv, verb to the status bar
- Updated internal code issues which do not affect operation. i.e.
removed unnecessary reliance on a PictureBox

- Added an Edit menu so that content can be copied & pasted
- Removed the requirement to restart WordNetCE if the dictionary path is
user-selected but remains unchanged
- Added a Word Wrap option so that trees can be easily viewed in their
true form if necessary
